Elisabeth Lux
I’m always searching for an iconic form. You need to see and feel the ideal dimensions of the various product components.

German artist Elisabeth Lux (born in 1955) lives and works in Berlin. Shortly after completing her training as an architect, she designed a sink that was reduced to its essence and a minimalist table with a shifted leg. She currently works principally as an artist.
In her workshop, Lux primarily dedicates herself to creating spatial objects with modest and powerful forms, with flexibility, sizing and the use of colour as important factors. Her handmade sculptures are characterised by their geometry. She applies variation by combining objects of different sizes and colours. A love of craft handiwork and an eye for detail were the factors uniting Pastoe and the artist. Motion is an extension of Lux’s spatial sculptures.
