Karel Boonzaaijer
I am fascinated by architectonic constructions and minimalistic simplicity.

Karel Boonzaaijer (born in 1948) began his design career as a furniture maker. After completing evening studies in architectural design at the arts academy, he joined furniture manufacturer Pastoe. Together with the Pastoe design team, he developed, among other things, the L-160 cabinet system in 1975, which is still in use internationally.
In 1980, Pierre Mazairac and Karel Boonzaaijer started the Mazairac/Boonzaaijer & Partners design firm in Zeist. They designed Vision using the philosophy of having a cabinet as an architectural composition element.
